I caught the creative bug the other day and managed to give birth to a new design. Starting with the Aegishjalmr (Helm of Awe) and the Elder Futhark Runes, the theme of new beginnings and cycles kept creeping into my mind.
The main focus is on two runes.
Ingwaz - growth, fertility, new beginnings
Jera - cycles, harvest, year
I chose the circles for a continuous, unbreakable cycle of growth and added a diamond to symbolize strength and clarity. Diamonds also represent a connection with the divine and are good for amplifying energy.
A bind rune flanks the diamond on all four sides and consists of the runes Ingwaz (growth), Berkana (new beginnings), Hagalaz (change), Raidho (journey), and Jera (cycles, harvest).
As for colors…
Black symbolizes power and protection.
Gold symbolizes enlightenment and divinity.
I’m in the process of figuring out which products I want to offer with this design. As of right now, I have the Cycles Casting Cloth available in both my Official Store and on my Etsy. I’ll be working on getting more products with the design added throughout the week.
